What Plants Talk About

by Doc Film
February 28, 2014

When we think about plants, we don't often associate a term like "behavior" with them, but experimental plant ecologist J.C. Cahill wants to change that.

The University of Alberta professor maintains that plants do behave and lead anything but solitary and sedentary lives.

'What Plants Talk About' teaches us all that plants are smarter and much more interactive than we thought!

Dear Sathya Jee,

Thank you for sharing this FASCINATING film!

Reminds me of a BBC episode from Ron Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected. Called The Sound Machine. I have the original on dvd, but alas, cannot find that on youtube. However a film maker inspired by that program did create this:

Apparently in the UK "Tales of the Unexpected" series is similar to the "Twilight Zone" series I grew up with here in the U.S. I discovered that UK series only recently.

It is no surprise to me that plants possess intelligence. All living things do.

PEACE, LOVE and LIGHT! :)
